Here are some of the commercial development highlights:

Central Park Boulevard between 36th Avenue and 40th Avenue opened connecting Central Park residents to the Shops at Northfield and providing access to I-70 and I-270.

Construction of RTD’s FasTrack East Rail Line commuter rail continues and is scheduled to open January, 2016.

2012 openings include :

Projects currently under construction:

  • Aster Conservatory Green Apartments – 352 units

48 acres are under contract and buyers are conducting feasibility:

  • United Properties – 700,000 sq. ft. of flex/industrial
  • Zocalo Community Development – Senior housing project
  • Horizon Development Group – Senior housing project

Additional Developments:

  • The E. 29th Avenue Town Center welcomed a newly renovated King Sooper’s (which includes a sushi bar and Starbucks)
  • Spec office suites were constructed at The Shops at Northfield and are available for lease
