With 2014 at our behind us let’s look back at all of the wonderful things that have happened over the past year.  Central Park opened its ninth neighborhood, Willow Park East, The new Conservatory Green Plaza hosted its first event and much more.

March

  • StapleFun board first debuted at the Visitor Center
  • First Gardening class of the season at the Visitor Center

April

May

  • The Bistro at Central Park opens, becoming Central Park’s newest restaurant
  • United Properties purchases additional land to develop in the Enterprise Business Center at Central Park
  • Central Park’s residents name two new pools
  • Northfield hosts 3rd annual Family Festival
  • Visitor Center Hosts Jim ‘N Nicks culinary class

June

  • Michele Smith breaks ground on the Veterinary Hospital located off of Montview, relocating from East 29th Ave Town Center.
  • Northfield Launches first Main Street Boutiques – a collection of Pop-Up Shops
  • Introduced Central Park’s Ninth great neighborhood Willow Park East
  • Grand opening for Wonderland Homes Terrace Collection
  • The Century Ride comes to Central Park for the 3rd consecutive year

July

  • Four Friends Kitchen breaks ground, with plans to feature the E 29th Avenue Town Center’s first open-air rooftop dining option
  • Little Free Library is built and opens for business at the Visitor Center
  • Staybridge Suites Denver – opens in Central Park’s Conservatory Green Neighborhood
  • The MCA hosts the Beer Festival in Founders’ Green
  • Central Park Hosts The Taste of Ethiopia in Central Park
  • Northfield welcomes Mountain Man Nut & Fruit Co. and El Forastero
  • Udi’s Central Park becomes Etai’s Bakery Cafe

August

  • Drury Inn & Suites opens, becoming Central Park’s newest hotel
  • Central Park and its Visitor Center were featured in the Denver Post.
  • Ambassador Adventure’s stories first appear giving a glimpse into memorable experiences about the Central Park community through the eyes of the Visitor Center Ambassadors.

September

  • The Aster Conservatory Green is complete – Central Park’s newest apartment community, and first series of apartments north of I-70
  • Denver Transit Partners releases the final design for Central Park’s future Central Park Station at a community meeting
  • Visitor center is donation drop off spot for the 4th annual Central Park Community Food Drive

October

  • A grand annual celebration of Halloween in the community
  • Thrive Home Builders wins Grand award for Housing Innovation 2nd year in a row
  • 2015 Dogs Calendar Winners announced
  • Visitor Center hosts Strictly Biz Event

November

  • REALGiving 2014 – another great year of giving in Central Park
  • The MCA hosts Winter Welcome
  • Conservatory Green Park and Plaza wins CO ASLA Merit Award
