The annual Africa Summit in Colorado, organized by Africa Agenda, was conceived after the historic U.S.-Africa Leaders’ Summit hosted by former president Barack Obama in Washington, D.C in August of 2014. To further explore the ideas raised from the summit and to serve its mission, Africa Agenda partnered with World Denver Young Professionals to continue the discussions on strengthening U.S. – Africa relationships from our own backyard in Colorado.
Each year Africa Agenda organizes an event to promote awareness about U.S. – Africa relations, the local African community, and positive developments across Africa the continent. This year’s summit will be a fun and meaningful night of great discussion. Guests will join journalists, political, nonprofit and business leaders and other specialists on Africa, choosing from more than ten in-depth table topics, to explore the challenges of African news and craft news agendas to benefit both Africans and Americans.
