Four Friends Kitchen, a new Southern brunch focused restaurant, will have a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, July 31st, at 2:00 PM in Central Park’s East 29th Avenue Town Center.
Denver, CO (July 30, 2014) – A groundbreaking ceremony will be held to celebrate construction of Four Friends Kitchen, a locally owned startup restaurant in Denver’s Central Park community. Four Friends Kitchen will be a full-service breakfast, lunch, and brunch restaurant featuring a Southern inspired menu, an upscale, family-friendly atmosphere, and the first and only open-air rooftop dining option in Central Park’s East 29th Avenue Town Center.
Four Friends Kitchen was started by four Central Park residents and next-door neighbors, Kurt and Sarah Pletcher and Tim and Genefer Thornton.
“It really is the definition of a mom-and-pop startup, and we have a lot of people to thank for helping us turn our vision into a reality,” said co-founder Tim Thornton. The team received business plan advice from the Denver Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and is financing construction through a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan with UMB Bank and Colorado Lending Source.
Four Friends Kitchen’s grand opening is planned for early 2015. It will be located at 2893 Roslyn Street, Denver, Colorado, 80238, immediately north of King Soopers and the MCA offices, and south of the Crescent Flats apartments and retail in the town center.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be open to the public.
