The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver honored the Central Park builder at its 32nd annual BAR Awards this year.
The Skyline model in Thrive Home Builders’ Central Park West collection won the Best Interior Design award for an attached home of $250,000 or under.
“I think the contemporary feel of the unit and the furnishings appeal to the target market in Central Park –the urban professionals … and the furniture is sophisticated and colorful,” said Linda Beutner, the winning model’s interior designer.
The BAR awards recognize marketing and construction achievements across the new-home industry.
Beutner said the Skyline model’s great room was her favorite area of the home, encompassing the kitchen as well as the dining and living rooms.
“We started with a wonderful rug with curving lines of vivid colors, and then repeated those strong colors in the furniture, artwork and accessories – giving the model a cohesive, upbeat look,” she said.
Thrive Home Builders also won three 2011 awards for interior design and staging from the National Association of Home Builders.
