The number one rule in real estate is location, location, location. When Matthew and Jenna Conner moved to Central Park seven years ago, they were drawn to the central Denver location.
“I traveled Monday through Thursday, so Central Park gave us the neighborhood feel we were looking for, and it was close to the airport and downtown. When we moved from Superior, Colorado, I figured I would save over 50 hours a year commuting to the airport, alone,” Matthew Conner said.
During the last seven years, the Conners have come to not only love the location, but all of the amenities Central Park has to offer. “We love the parks, swimming at the pools and using the Rec Center. In the summer, we love to walk to the Farmers Market, and we also enjoy the other events such as the Winter Welcome,” Jenna Conner explained.
“We lived in Switzerland during 2012 for my husband’s job, so we really missed the community here in Central Park while we were away. After we moved back, we looked at houses in other parts of the metro area including Anthem and Parker, but the combination of location, amenities and friends drove us to the decision to stay in Central Park.”
When home collections began to open in Conservatory Green neighborhood, they were drawn to the new construction. They had originally owned a townhome in Central Park, but their growing family had them looking for room to grow. The Conners picked Infinity Home Collection’s Vue.
“While we were living in Europe, we really fell in love with modern architecture. When we saw the Vue models, we knew the collection was for us. It offered the perfect combination of modern and spacious, but still provided a fantastic location,” Matthew said.
“We also liked the loft upstairs and the ability to finish the basement, “Jenna said.
The Conner family is excited to move into their new home this January, knowing Conservatory Green will have a similar feel to other parts of Central Park.
“There’s already a Conservatory Green Facebook page, and it seems like everyone on there is moving from other parts of Central Park,” Jenna said. “The neighborhood is still walkable and has a lot of the same amenities as what’s south of I-70.”
And Jenna said the couple isn’t planning to move again anytime soon. “We look at this house as the last house we are going to live in until the kids move off to college. We had a great time living in Europe, but now it’s time for us to settle down.”
