Forest City (now Brookfield Properties) hosted more than 60 members of Denver’s African American business community at the Denver Black Pages (DBP) Strictly Bizness Nite networking event on October 28th.

Strictly Bizness brings together Denver’s African American business community and other corporate partners for an evening of business-building opportunities, vendor presentations, networking, refreshments and entertainment.

Held on a crisp autumn evening at the Visitor Center, guests were welcomed by DBP’s founder Carla Ladd and Forest City’s (now Brookfield Properties) Director of Marketing, Tasha Jones.

We’re so excited to host Strictly Bizness and have you all here,” Jones said. “We’re eager to get to know you and show you all of the wonderful things taking place in this great community.”

Jones provided an overview of the many great neighborhoods of community including homes sold to date, and the diverse mix of residents, business opportunities, schools and transit-oriented options available.

Tim Harrington, Executive Managing Director for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank also enlightened the crowd with Forest City (now Brookfield Properties) Business updates features, including available office spaces, prime locations, amenities, and the availability of Business Ready tours for business owners.

If you’re looking for new office space, or considering relocating to a new space, Central Park has a wide variety of selections to fit almost every need at prices lower than you’ll find in downtown Denver,” he said.

Central Park’s proximity to light rail was also heralded as a major convenience for both employers and their employees.

“I’m so grateful for the support of Forest City (now Brookfield Properties),” said Ladd. “Strictly Bizness is one of our most popular networking opportunities and I’m pleased to have it hosted in such a beautiful venue, and for the partnership we’ve forged with Forest City (now Brookfield Properties).”
