Abundantly Clear- By Holly Lange
“I don’t mind getting my hands dirty, but I love making things pretty. Organizing and home staging are a natural pairing. You can’t sell a home without first removing extra clutter, and even if you aren’t selling, a newly organized home doesn’t feel organized without a fresh design.
I opened Abundantly Clear in 2005. Since then, I have been helping Central Park residents and beyond stage their homes, get settled, organize their homes and offices, and make their new homes their own with advice about paint colors and other decorating assistance. With my tool kit and furniture sliders in hand, there’s nothing I can’t handle.
In the fall of 2004, I moved to Central Park with my husband after living in Los Angeles and working in the post-production industry at Disney. We moved here to be closer to family, but I knew I would have to reinvent my career to stay in Colorado. In the spring of 2005, I read an article in the Front Porch about a Central Park mom who was a professional organizer. I called her up, found out about a meeting of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) scheduled for the next week, and my second career was born. At that meeting, I met a woman who was training students to be certified home stagers. Before long, home staging and organizing became the perfect way for me to help people in all stages of life: making room for baby, combining households, staging to sell and moving in.
The thing I love most about this business is how no two jobs are ever the same. Whether I’m creating a new filing system, organizing a closet, or rearranging a living room and redecorating to showcase the best of a home, every project is a new adventure. And the thing I hope my clients value the most is that they always have access to my ideas.
Do you feel stuck with the way things look in your home? Do you know you want a change, but you just don’t know where to start? Sometimes all you need is a short consultation with someone who can help you see your home in a new way. But, if you also need someone to roll up their sleeves and help you finally “just get it done,” I’ll be there!”
