Hashtag—Troy Guard’s take on today’s morning meal—is now serving in Eastbridge. The 85-seat eatery and Guard’s eleventh restaurant sits adjacent to another one of his renowned local concepts, Los Chingones.
A medium patio filled with bright, inviting furniture and flourishing planters first welcome you into the space designed by local firm, LIVStudio. Upon first entrance, the open kitchen gives you a preview into the creative, but casual menu. Once seated, you’ll feel at home in the spacious, bright booths surrounded by an array of wood elements and cookware that serves as decor.
The 2,460-square-foot space has been a dream of Guard’s for some time, and after one taste, we understood why.
While traditional breakfast items are scattered throughout the menu, more of the innovative dishes caught our attention. If you’re looking for something new to delight the palette, the Quinoa Waffle, Hippie Hash and Strawberry Rhubarb Pancakes are the crowd pleaser.
Though a neighborhood eatery at heart, the naturally-lit space also serves as a great space to host a morning or mid-day business meeting. HashTAG is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
